Using ETAP software, our engineers deliver comprehensive studies that safeguard people, equipment, and critical infrastructure from electrical fault events. 

Power & Protection Studies Overview 

Our power studies encompass load flow analysis, short-circuit calculations, protection discrimination, arc flash assessment, and power quality evaluation. Each study is tailored to the project's specific network topology, equipment characteristics, and operational requirements, producing actionable recommendations and compliant documentation. 

We have extensive experience delivering power and protection studies for mission-critical data centres, financial institutions, and complex commercial developments. Our studies are produced in accordance with IEC 60909, IEEE 1584, and BS 7671 standards, and are accepted by major utility companies and regulatory bodies across EMEA.

Design Process

Concept & Feasibility

Network data gathering, equipment specifications, and load schedule development. Definition of study scope and compliance standards applicable to the project. 

Schematic Design

Initial ETAP model build and preliminary load flow and fault studies. Early identification of protection gaps and system design recommendations. 

Detailed Design

Full study suite completed with confirmed equipment data — protection grading, arc flash, discrimination, and power quality reports produced. 

IFC Documentation

Formal study reports and protection relay settings schedules issued for construction, with full compliance documentation for client and regulatory records.
