BIM (Revit) Coordination

Intelligent Models.
Clash-Free Construction.

ppa delivers full BIM coordination using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Forma Design Collaboration, producing fully coordinated three-dimensional models across all MEP disciplines. Our BIM capability ensures clash-free designs, streamlined construction, and accurate as-built records, reducing cost, programme risk, and on-site abortive work.

BIM (Revit) Coordination Overview

We develop detailed Revit models for all MEP services, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and public health, coordinated against architectural and structural models. Clash detection is carried out using Navisworks Manage or Forma Design Collaboration, with regular coordination meetings to resolve issues before they reach site.

ppa holds the BSI Kitemark for BIM Design and Construction, reflecting our commitment to ISO 19650-compliant workflows. All BIM deliverables are produced in accordance with the Employer's Information Requirements (EIR) and Project BIM Execution Plan (BEP), ensuring consistent quality and data standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Design Process

Concept & Feasibility

Review of EIR, BIM goals, and project information requirements. Preparation of the BIM Execution Plan and establishment of CDE and naming conventions.

Schematic Design

Initial Revit model development at LOD 100–200. First coordination clash reports issued and resolved in coordination with the design team.

Detailed Design

Full LOD 300 model development. Weekly coordination meetings, clash detection runs, and resolution tracking until a clash-free model is achieved.

IFC Documentation

LOD 400 IFC models issued with full MEP content, equipment data, and COBie information ready for construction use and subsequent FM handover.
